Check out Rocky Votolato's newest album, "True Devotion," out tomorrow! It is quite tremendous and he really has delivered on this one. The Seattle based artist hasn't released an album since 2007, and I haven't fully loved every song on one of his albums since 2003's "Suicide Medicine." But "True Devotion" is a great return to entertaining and passionate songs, while still retaining his great acoustic guitar backing, rough voiced vocals, and random inserts of harmonica. I've been a fan of Rocky's for quite sometime, and this album makes me fall in love all over again!

i saw him last week on his birthday! the roadies and members of the opening band stopped him mid-show to sing him happy birthday and give him a cake!
